Transcript Request Information

The following drop down menu has been designed for you to easily navigate questions regarding transcript request.

1). Transcripts will not be issued if any financial obligations are due to the University. For more information, contact the Bursar's Office at 505-277-5363.

2). There is a $11.00 fee for each official transcript requested. The mailing method, FEDEX, will incur a shipping charge in addition to the $11.00 Transcript fee.

3). Transcript Request

  • Unofficial: processed on receipt in person, 4-6 business days if special handling is required
  • Official: 4-6 business days
    • Records with Do Not Recalculate (DTRC) and Verification Holds: 5-10 business days

4). Transcripts to be picked up by the student will be held for no longer than 60 days.  Picture Identification will be required to pick up transcripts.

5). All requests must be authorized by the student's signature in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.  Requests by persons other than the student will not be honored without the student's written permission.

6). Official copies of work transferred to the University of New Mexico must be requested directly from the institution where the work was completed.

There is a $10 fee for each official transcript requested. The mailing method, FEDEX, will incur a shipping charge in addition to the $11.00 Transcript fee.

Please click on Parchment above to enter your order. The University of New Mexico has retained Parchment to accept transcript orders over the Internet. The PDF transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company's website that is provided during the delivery process. Parchment has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of UNM. If you are a student who attended The University of New Mexico prior to 1983 or a student who attended the University of Albuquerque, your transcript cannot be sent electronically in a PDF format at this time, but you should still order your transcript using the Parchment link above.

Transcript requests are not accepted by FAX.

Please click on Parchment above to check the status of your online transcript request.

  • A currently enrolled student may print an unofficial/advising copy of their transcript via Loboweb.
  • Alumni, or former students who are not currently enrolled, may request a copy of their unofficial transcript at no charge in person. Unofficial transcripts are for the personal use of the student and will not be provided to third parties.

There is a $11.00 fee for each official transcript requested. The mailing method, FEDEX, will incur a shipping charge in addition to the $11.00 Transcript fee.  Unofficial transcripts are free with a maximum of three copies per request.

The University of Albuquerque closed August 15, 1986.  The records are now being maintained by the University of New Mexico.

UNM only issues official transcripts from the University of Albuquerque.
